The executive officers are selected from among the faculty (with the exception of the secretary). The President and Vice President terms are 2 years in length with the Vice-President serving as the President-Elect.
The officers meet approximately 4 times per year and oversee the fellows program, and the annual selection/election of Phi Beta Kappa members.

Jeanne M. Schueller is Teaching Professor in the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic+ at UW–Madison, where she is affiliated with the Doctoral Program in Second Language Acquisition. After serving as Vice President, she is now President.
